CRH Medical Corporation opens third Center in Chicago
VANCOUVER, April 21 /-/ - CRH Medical Corporation
(CRM:TSX-V) announced today that it has opened a Center for Colorectal
Health in the Logan Square area of Chicago. This Center is the Company's
third in the Chicago area, one of many new markets that CRH has targeted
for expansion. The opening of the Logan Square Center brings the Company's
total number of Centers to 12.
According to the National Institute of Health, the prevalence rate of
hemorrhoids in the US is about 4.4% of the population. Approximately 50% of
the U.S. population will develop hemorrhoids by age 50. The Company plans
to significantly increase the number of Centers for Colorectal Health
across the U.S. to address this underserved market.
